St. Louis Gets New Animation Studio As ‘Hair Love’ Producer Carl Reed Launches Composition Media

Carl Reed, the producer behind the Oscar-winning short Hair Love, has launched Composition Media, a St. Louis-based animation studio focusing on content that highlights minority and underrepresented communities. The studio’s debut projects include the animated features Bad Grandmas and Sky & Luna, as well as a TV series adaptation of the board game Catapult Feud.
